CHAMBORD is the original classic French press coffee maker designed in the fifties. Not that the rest are fakes, but we really like it because of its timeless design and excellent craftsmanship. In fact, CHAMBORD stands out immediately from other french presses with its shiny dome-shaped chrome lid and silvery frame. Constructed with borosilicate glass, stainless steel and PP, it is light, durable and strong enough for everyday use. It has a large classy handle for easy holding without scalding yourself. I especially like the fact that spare parts can be purchased in case of damage or wear-tear and that the unit can be taken apart for more thorough washing. Overall, the French press system has always been the simplest and best way of brewing an excellent cup of coffee. All the coffee's oils and complexity are captured in a 4 minutes brew. For best results, brew with freshly roasted, freshly coarse ground, medium-dark or lighter roast coffees, with chlorine-free water of 95 degrees celsius.
