This coffee really stands out for its fruity sweet aromatics.The dry fragrance has a hint of rose, along with ripe fruits like strawberry and plum. It has a sweet mulling spicy finish, and a bit of orange peel. Very smooth and creamy.
Papua New Guinea lies on the eastern half of the island of New Guinea, which is also home to Indonesia in the west. The nation also includes many smaller islands, all of which are located north of the Australian coast and south of the Phillipines. The tropical climate promotes all sorts of wildlife and plant species which contribute to the biodiversity and agricultural success of the region.
The Baroida Estate, where this coffee originates, has been in operation for over 70 years. Situated along the banks of the Lamari River, this farm reaps the benefits of natural irrigation at a high altitude. The combination of experienced farmers and geography make for one of the most unique varietals in the South Pacific region.
