Shipping & Delivery

Our coffees & teas are guaranteed fresh. Orders placed are usually shipped within two business days. We offer two types of shipping method:

S tandard shipping rate is flat charge of $3.90 to any destination in the world (except Malaysia). Every order amounting $100 and above will be shipped free of charge. Orders usually take 7 to 14 days to arrive.For whole Malaysia, standard shipping rate is flat charge of $0.99 per delivery

E xpress shipping rates are based on weight and destination. Estimated delivery time is between 3 to 7 days.

Note:
1. During holidays, order processing and/or shipping may be slightly delayed.
2. We do not ship on holidays and Sunday.

For international shipments, we will complete the relevant customs declarations to be attached to each parcel shipped. Please note that any customs duties / taxes are the customers’ responsibility and will usually be collected by the appropriate authority before the parcel is released.

Tracking Packages

Tracking of delivery service is only available for Express shipping. You will be informed as soon as the order is dispatched to the courier company and will receive the tracking number as soon as it becomes available.

Return Policy

We hope you enjoy the items you bought from Straitscoffee. However, should you ever have any problem with your order, please email us at straitscoffee@straitscoffee.com within 7 days upon receipt of your items from the courier to arrange for a return and refund of your money. Returned products must be in their original condition and packaging. Please do not return any items until you are given clear instructions to do so, failure upon which voids the refunds and returns policy.

Unless the problem is due to us, any shipping charges and any costs incurred in the return of the item are the responsibility of the customer.

Late or Lost Orders 

If an order shipped using Standard shipping is late, there is a 45 days waiting period from notification to Straitscoffee before the order is considered officially “lost”. Most likely, these delays are attributed to different countries’ customs process and are beyond our control.

Non Collection/ Wrong delivery address

All parcels under Standard shipping will be sent using registered mail.  If no-one is available to sign for the delivery, the parcel will be taken back to the local post office for collection. If the parcel is not collected within the timeframe specified in the delivery attempt card, it will be returned to us.

All parcels sent under Express shipping requires a signatory on delivery. If no-one is available to sign for the delivery, the parcel will be taken back to the warehouse and the courier company will contact you for the next delivery timing. If the parcel is still not collected within the timeframe specified by courier service, it will be returned to us as well.

In the event of Non Collection we reserve the right to charge a $5.00 administration fee and charge the full shipping cost based on destination and weight.

Providing the correct deliverable address is the customer’s responsibility. If a parcel gets bounced back due to an undeliverable address or wrong address, we will contact the customer and any extra charges incurred shall be borne by the customer.
